| Last friday was D&D. always "overated" kind of event. staff attend it coz its FREE....was at Suntec Guild House and my table dressed up in punjabi suits....we won best dressed table. I lent a male colleague my dad's punjabi suit and "turban/hat" and he won best dressed and got a $50 robinsons' voucher! think he should be sharing it with the table of us though...will try to post pics if i get them...anyway, for the lucky draw i won a 20 inch colour TV which i moaned about coz i could not carry it home. had to call hubby to come to save me..and we had to throw away the box coz it could not fit into the car...can't complain.. tat was the 5th prize worth $200 ....was a bit sad i did not win the playstation 2, travel voucher....or DVD home theatre system or the first prize of a canon digital camera 3.2 mega pixels..... |

| actually this is SMELLYPAWS xanga and not megan's xanga. i should tell you more about dear ROBBIE then....he's a lovable mongrel, the alpha male of his pack so it explains why he lacks socialization skills and is horribly defensive and nasty to strangers or to people he doesn't like. Having said that, he's really a nice little baby at home coz he loves his daddy and mommy a lot. he mopes when we don't play with him and knows when he commits a "crime" and will humbly bow his head low and give you those puppy-eye looks even though he's supposed to be 21 years old...
He's too smart for his own good i think. He knows words like "shower-shower" (where he'll scurry and hide below our bed and won't emerge till hours later); "food-food" is when he starts jumping furiously and licking his tongue; "ball-ball" where he'll search for his favourite blue ball with spikes and run to you" and his other toys like mousey mousey, dino, mr bump, sunny, piggy, elephant, tigger, he can recognise and fetch them for you...
he knows when marc and i don't work and will sit at the door, forcing us to bring him out. i feel so sad when i know he wants to come out with us but sometimes its just not convenient to... well, next sunday then, robbie.... |
